JB Bahio's career-high 23 points lead NLEX past Blackwater to 4-1 record

JB Bahio scored a career-high 23 points, powering the NLEX Road Warriors to a 99-88 victory over the Blackwater Bossing in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.

This win marks the Road Warriors' third consecutive victory, improving their record to 4-1 and giving them provisional sole possession of the league lead.

NLEX established an early lead, but Blackwater narrowed the deficit to 64-60 in the third quarter before NLEX restored order.

Key contributions also came from Xyrus Torres (18 points), Robert Bolick (15 points, 12 assists), and Kevin Alas (13 points) for NLEX.

The loss is Blackwater's third in a row, bringing their record to 1-3.

Coach Jong Uichico acknowledged the team's need to address a recurring "lull" in their game despite the win.

NLEX faces a challenging stretch ahead, with upcoming games against Barangay Ginebra and Rain or Shine.
