Nico Antonio joins Park Min-young in new K-drama 'Confidence Queen'

Filipino actor Nico Antonio has landed a role in the new K-drama 'Confidence Queen,' starring alongside Korean actress Park Min-young and actor Joo Jong-hyuk.

The 12-episode series, an adaptation of the Japanese movie 'Confidence Man,' filmed scenes in Clark, Pampanga, including at the Clark International Airport.

The drama premiered on Prime Video on September 6 and follows con artists Park Min-young, Joo Jong-hyuk, and Park Hee-soon as they team up against corrupt villains.

Park Min-young stated that the most attractive part of her role is being able to play different characters in each episode.

Joo Jong-hyuk, who is looking forward to visiting the Philippines again after studying in the country, plays a con artist who is part of the team.

The series, described as a mix of comedy and action, drops two new episodes weekly on Saturdays and Sundays and is available in over 240 countries and territories.
