Muhammad Ali's grandson Nico Ali Walsh fights to majority draw vs Kittisak Klinson

Nico Ali Walsh, grandson of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, fought to a majority draw against Thai opponent Kittisak Klinson in an eight-round exhibition match at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The event commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Thrilla in Manila, where Muhammad Ali previously defeated Joe Frazier.

One judge scored the fight 77-76 for Klinson, while the other two judges scored it a 76-76 tie, resulting in the majority draw.

Walsh expressed shock at the decision, stating, "I thought it was a clear victory."

Notable attendees at the event included President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.

Despite the unexpected result, Walsh appreciated the warm reception from Filipino fans and expressed interest in returning to the Philippines.
