Netflix renews Emily in Paris for sixth season

Netflix has officially announced the renewal of "Emily in Paris" for a sixth season, confirmed via a teaser video featuring lead star Lily Collins.

The fifth season, which aired in December 2025 and was set in Rome, recorded 26.8 million views worldwide in its first 11 days, topping the charts as the No. 1 TV series in 24 countries.

The season saw Emily, played by Lily Collins, tasked with establishing an Agence Grateau office in Rome and navigating a new romance with luxury fashion heir Marcello Muratori.

Emily's cliffhanger ending in season five saw her relationship with Marcello conclude and her response to Gabriel's invitation to join him in Greece is yet to be revealed.

Created by Darren Star, the romantic comedy follows Emily, an American marketing executive navigating life and career in Paris.

In a recent interview, Lily Collins candidly opened up about the challenges of balancing motherhood with her career, noting that her daughter was three months old when she started shooting season five.
