NCR, other areas remain under COVID-19 Alert Level 1 until Aug 15

The National Capital Region (NCR) and numerous other areas across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will continue to be under COVID-19 Alert Level 1 from August 1 to 15.

The Department of Health (DOH) announced the continuation of Alert Level 1 for these regions, signifying the lowest alert level.

Alert Level 1 allows for full capacity domestic travel and business operations, subject to minimum public health standards.

Several additional areas were de-escalated to Alert Level 1, including specific locations in Antique, Leyte, Zamboanga Sibugay, Davao Del Norte, Sarangani, Surigao Del Norte, and Lanao del Sur.

These newly de-escalated areas met criteria related to low case classification, bed utilization, and vaccination rates.

The DOH specified numerous provinces and cities across all regions of Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao that will remain under Alert Level 1.
