NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 12.1% - OCTA Research

The COVID-19 positivity rate in the National Capital Region decreased to 12.1% as of September 3, a drop from 12.9% the previous week, according to OCTA Research.

While the NCR saw a dip, several Luzon provinces continued to have high positivity rates, though many experienced decreases.

Camarines Sur dropped from 46.7% to 33.5%, Isabela from 30.1% to 19.6%, and Cagayan from 29.7% to 19.6%.

Albay was an exception, recording an increase in its positivity rate from 21.2% to 32.2%.

Nueva Ecija and Tarlac also maintained very high positivity rates.

Positivity rates in Palawan and Zamboanga del Sur remained very high.

Outside Luzon, Cebu's positivity rate dropped from 8.9% to 6.2%, and Iloilo remained at a moderate level.

Bohol decreased from 22.7% to 18.5%, and Capiz fell from 20.4% to 11.4%.
