Nationwide, the COVID-19 positivity rate saw a slight decrease to 23.4% on May 14, down from 23.6% the previous day.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,109 new COVID-19 cases across the country, with Metro Manila logging the highest number at 855, followed by Cavite with 171 cases.

The DOH advised the public to focus on protective measures such as wearing face masks, getting vaccinated, and receiving booster doses as cases rise.
