NBI seizes P170 millin fake goods
The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) confiscated over P170 million worth of counterfeit caps and sports apparel following raids on 16 stalls in Binondo and San Nicolas.
The operation, which stemmed from complaints by brands New Era and '47 regarding trademark infringement, involved the implementation of search warrants on September 17.
Authorities seized a total of 33,744 pieces bearing the New Era trademark and 15,103 items with the '47 mark.
