Napolcom seeks tighter rules on PNP uniform sales to prevent misuse

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) is pushing for stricter regulations on the sale and manufacture of Philippine National Police (PNP) uniforms to prevent misuse and maintain the integrity of the police force.

Napolcom officials met with accredited PNP uniform suppliers to discuss and address the issue of unauthorized sellers operating near Camp Crame and on various online platforms.

The commission emphasized that the PNP uniform symbolizes duty, integrity, and public service, and its unauthorized reproduction and sale could tarnish this symbol.

Napolcom stated that enforcement measures will be intensified to ensure that only legitimate suppliers remain within the system.

Stricter controls will be implemented both physically and digitally to ensure compliance and prevent the misuse of police uniforms.
