NAIA hits record 4.86 million passengers in December 2025

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) achieved a record-breaking December 2025, handling approximately 4.86 million passengers, including 2.495 million domestic and 2.367 million international travelers.

This December volume marked a new monthly high for international travel at NAIA.

For the entire year 2025, NAIA recorded its highest annual passenger traffic with 52.02 million travelers, surpassing the 50.1 million recorded in 2024.

The airport operator, New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), attributed the stable operations and record numbers to implemented operational improvements, sustained demand for air travel, and the addition of new airlines like Air Canada and Air India.

Airlines such as Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines also increased flight frequencies, with PAL taking delivery of Southeast Asia's first Airbus A350-1000.
