Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo joins Mayors for Good Governance

Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo has officially joined the Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG), an organization committed to promoting transparency and accountability among local government leaders.

The M4GG, which seeks to fight corruption, welcomed Robredo as part of its first batch of new observer members for the term 2025-2028.

Along with Robredo are Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas, and over 40 other mayors.

The organization aims to ensure all members actively contribute to building a more prosperous Philippines.

As observer members, new inductees will gain a deeper understanding of the M4GG's vision before becoming full-fledged members by participating in at least three official organizational activities.

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong noted that while around 200 mayors have joined the group, only about 77 have fully qualified as members, with most holding observer status.
