MVP Sports Foundation donates 500 booster shots to SEA Games athletes

The MVP Sports Foundation has donated 500 COVID-19 booster shots to athletes competing in the upcoming 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.

MVPSF president Al Panlilio announced the donation as part of the foundation's commitment to the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), where he oversees the vaccination program.

The booster shots will be administered once all necessary documents from the delegation members have been completed.

The MVP Sports Foundation, along with PLDT and Smart, also donated 500 Moderna booster shots to the Philippine Basketball Association.

A total of 626 Filipino athletes are expected to compete in 39 sports at the Hanoi Games.

POC president Abraham Tolentino stated that the donation is a significant help and that the POC will shoulder booster shots for any athletes who have not yet received theirs.
