MVP Sports Foundation, Ayala Foundation ink partnership to support Filipino athletes

The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) acknowledges a new partnership between the MVP Sports Foundation Inc. (MVPSF) and Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) aimed at enhancing support for Filipino athletes.

The collaboration was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by AFI president Tony Lambino, AFI senior director for Development Programs Emil de Quiros, and MVPSF president Alfredo Panlilio.

Ayala Corporation chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala and MVPSF chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, along with PSC chairman Patrick "Pato" Gregorio, were present during the signing.

This private sector initiative seeks to develop more Filipino athletes for international competition by providing support for elite athletes and improving grassroots training.

The partnership also intends to synergize AFI's Atletang Ayala program and MVPSF's efforts in developing world-class Filipino athletes.

Both foundations are committed to collaborating on advocacy initiatives with government agencies supporting national sports development.

Ayala Corporation chairman Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala stated that their goal is to find and support potential world champions who currently have limited opportunities.
