Muntinlupa surpasses 86% COVID-19 vaccination target

Muntinlupa City has achieved an 86.3% vaccination rate for its target population, with nearly 333,000 residents fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of November 14.

This milestone means 332,883 individuals have received their complete doses, representing 70% of the city's estimated total population.

The fully vaccinated population includes significant numbers from priority groups such as health workers, senior citizens, persons with comorbidities, essential workers, and the indigent population.

Muntinlupa City has started the full vaccination of minors aged 12 to 17 years old, with 199 having received their second dose as of November 16.

A total of 13,790 minors have received their first dose, representing 25 percent of the estimated minor population in the city.

The city is preparing for the vaccination of minors aged 12 to 17, with simulation activities already conducted using the Moderna vaccine.
