MPower to supply electricity to Aseana City properties

MPower, the retail electricity arm of Meralco, will supply electricity to properties in Aseana City, Makati, and Parañaque through a new agreement with Aseana Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of D.M. Wenceslao & Associates, Inc. (DMWAI).

This agreement enables the consolidation of multiple electricity accounts within DMWAI's commercial spaces and offices to facilitate bulk power purchases from MPower under the retail aggregation program (RAP).

Retail aggregation allows customers with smaller individual loads to combine their demand, benefiting from more competitive rates and a wider choice of suppliers.

This initiative builds upon DMWAI's previous transition of larger electricity users to the competitive retail electricity market, a framework introduced in 2019.

DMWAI President and CEO Delfin Angelo C. Wenceslao expressed confidence in the continued strong partnership with Meralco and MPower for future developments.
