Que, Mondilla share lead in ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge

Angelo Que and Clyde Mondilla fired matching 67s to seize a share of the lead in the ICTSI Valley Golf Challenge at the Valley Golf Club.

Que opened up with two straight birdies and played his last 12 holes at four-under, while Mondilla had an eagle-spiked card but sputtered late.

Mondilla was working on a seven-under card entering his 17th hole, but three-putting the last two greens dropped him into a tie with Que.

Both golfers are two shots ahead of third-place contenders Carl Corpus, Jhonnel Ababa, and Korean Taewon Ha, who all posted 69s.

Anthony Fernando and Albin Engino trail with 70s, while Sean Ramos is among a group at eighth with a 71.

Jeffren Lumbo, the recent South Pacific leg champion, is tied at 17th with a 72.
