MMFF Parade of Stars set for Dec 19 in Makati

The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) will hold its annual Parade of Stars on December 19 in Makati City, marking the 51st edition of the festival.

The parade, which will feature the stars and floats of the eight official film entries, is set to begin at 1 p.m. at Macapagal Boulevard.

The procession will cover an 8.4-kilometer route through key Makati streets including Buendia Avenue, Ayala Avenue, and Makati Avenue, concluding at Circuit Makati.

MMFF chairman Atty. Don Artes expressed excitement in bringing the parade to Makati for the first time, highlighting the festival's theme: 'A New Era for Philippine Cinema'.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes to avoid heavy traffic along the parade path.

The eight official entries include "Call Me Mother," "Rekonek," "Manila's Finest," "Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins," "I'm Perfect," "Love You So Bad," "Unmarry," and "Bar Boys: After School."
