Miss Universe president Raul Rocha wanted by Mexico for organized crime

Raul Rocha, president of the Miss Universe Organization, is reportedly missing amidst a reissued arrest warrant from a Mexican federal judge for organized crime.

The Attorney General's Office of Mexico has marked Rocha as "wanted" for drug, arms, and fuel trafficking between Mexico and Guatemala.

Rocha's warrant was reissued after authorities discovered he provided a false address and has no permanent residence in Mexico.

The Guatemalan government has revoked his appointment as its honorary consul to Mexico.

The Financial Intelligence Unit of Mexico has reportedly frozen Rocha's local bank accounts as part of the criminal investigation.

Investigations suggest Rocha's alleged ties to organized crime may have facilitated his acquisition of forged documents to escape the country.
