Miss Universe PH 2024: Michelle Dee comically places crown tilted on Chelsea Manalo

Michelle Dee acknowledged a moment of distraction during the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation night when she initially placed the crown incorrectly on her successor, Chelsea Anne Manalo.

The incident, where the crown was momentarily tilted, was captured on video and quickly spread across social media.

Manalo explained that she didn't feel the crown was about to fall until she had to turn, and that she and Dee both laughed about it afterward.

Dee, the outgoing Miss Universe Philippines 2023, corrected the placement of the crown.

Manalo has since turned the humorous moment into a source of inspiration, stating that balancing the crown is what makes a queen.

She also revealed that she had considered quitting the pageant due to diminishing resources but was encouraged by the pageant shoe provider's team to continue.

Dee wished Manalo luck on her Miss Universe journey, stating she has a "genuine heart."
