Ilocos, Western. Visayas workers receive pay hike
Minimum wage earners and household workers in Ilocos and Western Visayas started receiving their increased daily salaries on November 19, 2025.
In Western Visayas, non-agricultural, industrial, and commercial workers in establishments with more than 10 employees now earn a minimum daily wage of P550.
Those in Western Visayas establishments with fewer than 10 workers will receive P525 daily, agricultural workers P520 daily, and household workers a monthly salary of P6,500.
For Ilocos Region, non-agriculture workers in establishments with more than 10 employees will now have a minimum daily wage of P505.
Workers in Ilocos establishments employing fewer than 10 workers will be paid at least P480 daily, and household workers a minimum monthly pay of P6,700.
The National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) oversees these wage increases granted by the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards (RTWPB).
