Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo wrap up filming for MMFF 2025 entry Call Me Mother

Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo have finished filming the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2025 entry "Call Me Mother," starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre.

The "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition" alumni shared that working with Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre was a valuable experience.

Brent Manalo described the filming environment as incredibly fun, stating that working alongside Vice Ganda made him feel like they were just playing on set.

Mika Salamanca corroborated this sentiment, highlighting how easy Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre were to work with and how supportive they were of the newer actors.

Both Salamanca and Manalo revealed that their primary takeaway from the lead stars was the lesson on the importance of working diligently while also cherishing every moment of the experience.

Manalo further elaborated that the set demonstrated how a demanding work environment could still be lighthearted and enjoyable, contrasting it with typical experiences where fatigue can lead to bad tempers.

They also noted that despite demanding shooting schedules, they did not feel the fatigue due to the supportive atmosphere on set.
