Michelle Gumabao gets engaged to boyfriend Aldo Panlilio

Former beauty queen and volleyball player Michelle Gumabao is engaged to her long-time boyfriend, basketball coach and businessman Aldo Panlilio.

The couple announced their engagement on social media on their eighth anniversary as a couple, August 8.

The engagement took place in Tokyo, Japan, with photos captured by Nice Print Photo.

Gumabao shared her excitement, writing '8 to [infinity] with you' on Instagram.

Panlilio also expressed his love, posting '8/8 celebrating our 8th year and it's [inifinity] with you, Michele Gumabao.'

Michelle's batchmates from the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant, including Catriona Gray, Samantha Bernardo, and Vickie Rushton, sent their congratulations.

Michelle Gumabao competed at Binibining Pilipinas 2018, where she was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2018 and finished in the Top 15 at Miss Globe.
