Volleyball star Michele Gumabao weds PBA coach Aldo Panlilio

Volleyball superstar Michele Gumabao married her long-time partner, Marco Alejandro "Aldo" Dolor Panlilio, in a Catholic ceremony at the National Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Makati.

Gumabao, who plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers, was back in action for her team's playoff bid just two days after her wedding.

She helped the Cool Smashers secure a win in the PVL All-Filipino quarterfinals with an efficient performance.

Gumabao shared that reaching this point with her partner feels like a starting line for a new chapter, and they hope to build a family in a few years.

She expressed gratitude for the support of her Creamline family, who gave her a memorable send-off before her wedding.

Panlilio is a PBA strength and conditioning coach, and the couple has been together since 2016.
