Meralco's Vantage Energy to power 35 Gokongwei Group properties

Vantage Energy, a retail electricity supplier owned by Meralco, will power 35 Gokongwei Group properties nationwide.

The agreement covers properties under Robinsons Land Corporation, Robinsons Supermarket Corporation, and Universal Robina Corporation (URC).

Lance Y. Gokongwei, President and CEO of JG Summit Holdings, stated that the commitment to renewable energy will help the Gokongwei Group achieve its sustainability targets.

A portion of the electricity supply from Vantage Energy will come from renewable sources, aligning with the group's sustainability objectives.

Vantage Energy President Ernesto M. Cabral highlighted the long-standing partnership and the expansion to include contestable properties, some of which are already transitioning to renewable energy.
