Meghan Markle's father safe in Cebu hotel after earthquake

Thomas Markle, father of Meghan Markle, has stated he is safe and "quite comfortable" in his Cebu hotel room following a 6.9-magnitude earthquake.

He refuted claims made by his half-sister, Samantha Markle, that he was trapped on the 19th floor and unable to walk.

Thomas clarified that the earthquake's epicenter was approximately 100 miles from his location.

He expressed confusion about Samantha's statements, noting they have not spoken and he is unaware of her motives.

Samantha Markle had posted on X that their father was stranded and incapacitated after the earthquake.

Thomas, who recently moved to Cebu from Mexico, is reportedly 80 years old.

His estrangement from his daughter Meghan Markle remains unchanged.
