Megaworld ups reward for Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo to P35M

Megaworld Corporation is increasing its reward for Filipino Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo to P35 million, up from the initially announced P24 million.

Yulo will now receive a fully furnished three-bedroom condominium unit worth P32 million in Megaworld's McKinley Hill development, complete with furniture, appliances, two balconies, a helper's room, and a parking slot.

In addition to the condominium, Megaworld will also provide Yulo with a P3 million cash prize.

Megaworld President Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso stated that the enhanced reward commemorates Yulo's historic achievement of becoming the first Filipino to win two Olympic gold medals, coinciding with the company's 35th anniversary and the Philippines' 100th year of Olympic participation.

Carlos Yulo secured two gold medals in men's artistic gymnastics at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
