Megaworld adds over 30,000 sqm of new commercial space this year

Property developer Megaworld is adding over 30,000 square meters of new commercial space this year, with new malls and commercial developments in Taguig, Makati, Las Piñas, and Aklan.

These new projects contribute to Megaworld's goal of reaching one million square meters of gross leasable area by 2030.

The Shoppes at Park McKinley West, a two-level retail destination, will feature international retailers, unique concepts new to the Philippines, and local dining establishments, including Ogawa Traditional Japanese Restaurant, Tartufo, and Royal Indian Curry House.

Other upcoming developments include a lifestyle mall at the Vion Tower in Makati and another at Alabang West in Las Piñas City.

In the Visayas, Megaworld will launch Newcoast Beachwalk, a retail and dining hub in Aklan.

Earlier this year, the company added 36,000 sq.m. of GLA at Lucky Chinatown with the opening of its Imperial Wing.

Megaworld also began the P2.5-billion redevelopment of its 18.5-hectare Eastwood City township in June.
