Maya and Visa partner for easier account funding

Fintech firm Maya and payment network Visa have partnered to allow users to fund their Maya accounts using foreign-issued Visa cards, simplifying cross-border transactions.

This new feature enables expatriates, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and global travelers to directly load funds from their international Visa cards into their Maya accounts.

The partnership aims to make it easier for Filipinos and OFWs to transfer money from their overseas Visa cards into their Maya wallets for spending, saving, and investing in the Philippines.

Maya, a digital bank licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), sees this collaboration as a way to enhance the flexibility of digital payments.

Visa Philippines country manager Jeffrey Navarro highlighted that this collaboration provides Maya users with greater convenience and control over their finances through secure and seamless transactions.
