Maricel Soriano stars as mother battling cancer in "Meet, Greet & Bye"

Veteran actress Maricel Soriano portrays Baby Facundo, a mother battling recurring breast cancer that has spread to her brain and liver, in the film "Meet, Greet & Bye."

Her adult sons, Christopher "Tupe" Pascual, who lives in the US, Brad, who runs the family's lechon business, and musician Leo, along with Tupe's daughter Geri Anne, rally around her.

Despite previous treatment, Baby refuses further chemotherapy unless her children can secure VIP tickets for her to meet her K-drama idol, Park Seo-joon.

This creates a dilemma for her sons, who disagree on how to handle her request and her treatment.

Adding to the family's conflict is Tupe's return from the US, which is met with mixed reactions from his siblings.

While Leo idolizes Tupe, Brad and Geri Anne resent him.

Soriano's performance as Baby is highlighted in the film, which also marks her reunion with Piolo Pascual and her first collaboration with Joshua Garcia, Juan Karlos Labajo, and Belle Mariano.
