Marcos urges Filipinos to act on faith this Easter

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. urged Filipinos to transform their faith into tangible actions, emphasizing compassion, forgiveness, solidarity, and inclusive governance in addressing national challenges this Easter Sunday.

Marcos stated that the Resurrection of Jesus Christ serves as a powerful symbol of hope and a call to action to improve the lives of those suffering from hardship, hunger, and silence.

He asserted that Easter's triumph signifies the victory of life, hope, and light over death, despair, and darkness.

The President stressed that to be true pilgrims of hope, it is not enough to say Christ has risen while leaving others "buried-in debt, in hunger, and in silence."

He emphasized that the risen Christ invites everyone to rise with Him through policies that heal, laws that protect, and governance that leaves no one behind.

Marcos further encouraged the nation to rise stronger, kinder, and more united as one Filipino people.
