Marcos Jr. urges PNPA graduates to serve with courage and integrity

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. urged the 206 graduates of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) "Sinaglawin" Class of 2025 to uphold their posts with courage and integrity.

Speaking at the commencement exercises in Silang, Cavite, Marcos advised the new police lieutenants to remain steadfast to their oath to the public and their commitment to service, honor, and justice, even as they face trials and hardships in their careers.

He acknowledged the challenges facing the PNP, including some members who have lost their way and forgotten their sworn duties.

Marcos expressed confidence in the ability of the police force to cleanse, strengthen, and solidify professionalism within its ranks.

He stated that the "Sinaglawin" Class of 2025 will bring change and hope to the police force, and urged them to fulfill their duties with loyalty and courage.

The President reminded them to always take to heart their oath to the Republic, their duty to uphold the Constitution, and their responsibility to the citizens.

This graduating class is the first batch to be fully commissioned as police lieutenants of the PNP due to the full implementation of Republic Act 11279, which places the PNPA directly under the PNP.
