Marcos Jr. vows strict enforcement against irresponsible mining

Speaking at the Mining Philippines 2025: International Conference and Exhibition, Marcos emphasized that mining should contribute positively to communities, not create burdens for them.

He reiterated that mining revenues should bring tangible benefits to the people, translating into improved social services and infrastructure.

The President also noted that the government is strengthening transparency and accountability in the mining sector.
