Marcos Jr. looks forward to working with new China envoy in ‘managing differences'
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. expressed his hope to manage differences and strengthen ties with China's new ambassador, Jing Quan.
During the presentation of credentials at Malacañang, Marcos Jr. stated that differences between the Philippines and China should be the exception, not the norm, in their diplomatic relationship.

Marcos Jr. also recalled his agreement with Chinese President Xi Jinping from November 2023 to not let the South China Sea territorial dispute define their nations' diplomatic relations.
The President also received the letters of credence from the new Ambassador of Chile to the Philippines, Felipe Alejandro Diaz Ibañez.
