Marcos Jr. calls for unity among new leaders

President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has called on newly-elected leaders to set aside political differences and work together for the common good of the nation.

He emphasized that governance is a shared responsibility and urged unity to address pressing issues such as inflation, job creation, corruption, and the daily struggles of Filipinos.

Marcos invoked the words of his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., highlighting the importance of Filipinos prevailing together and marching towards the future as a united nation.

The President extended his gratitude to all Filipinos who participated in the 2025 midterm elections, acknowledging their role in the peaceful and orderly exercise of democracy.

As of the latest count, six of the 12 leading senatorial candidates are from the administration-backed Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
