Marcos Jr. names Peralta new CA Presiding Justice

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Associate Justice Fernanda Lampas-Peralta as the new Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeals (CA).

She took her oath of office before the President at Malacañan Palace on Monday, November 18.

Peralta previously served as the acting presiding justice of the CA for two months, succeeding the retired Justice Remedios Salazar Fernando.

She has been an associate justice at the CA for over 20 years and is the wife of retired Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta.

Peralta holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of the East and completed her law studies at San Beda College and Far Eastern University.

She also previously worked at the Office of the Solicitor General and was a part-time instructor at the University of the East.
