MVP sports foundation vows support for PH athletes in LA Olympics
Sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan, through the MVP Sports Foundation (MVPSF), announced a P10 million cash reward for Carlos Yulo for his double gold medal achievement at the Paris Olympics.
Yulo secured gold medals in the men's vault and men's floor exercise, becoming the first Filipino to win two golds in a single Olympic Games.
The MVPSF is also awarding P2 million each to bronze medalists Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas.
Pangilinan promised P5 million to Yulo's coaching team and P2 million to the boxing coaches.
This reward adds to the other prizes Yulo has already received, including more than P100 million from government and private companies.
Pangilinan affirmed the MVPSF's continued support for Filipino athletes, including Yulo, leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
