Manila Mayor Moreno thanks Marcos Jr. for healthcare support as city opens new hospital

Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso celebrated President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s birthday while highlighting the expansion of the city's healthcare services, attributing these advancements to the support of the national government.

Moreno led a birthday celebration for President Marcos Jr., expressing gratitude for enhanced healthcare programs and the visible presence of national agencies like the Department of Health (DOH) and PhilHealth in Manila.

The mayor noted that the local hospitals and health centers, under OIC-City Health Officer Dr. Grace Padilla, have been instrumental in facilitating these national government initiatives.

Significant improvements in city hospitals were cited, including the recent opening of Manila's seventh hospital, the President Corazon C. Aquino General Hospital, also known as Baseco Hospital.

Domagoso also detailed the advanced diagnostic facilities now available at Ospital ng Maynila, such as MRI, CT scan, mammogram, ultrasound, X-ray, and the city's first cardiac catheterization laboratory.
