Mandaluyong launches 'Relax, We're Vaxed' campaign

Mandaluyong City has launched the "Relax, We're Vaxed" safety seal campaign to encourage more residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The program awards safety seal stickers to households and establishments where all eligible residents or employees have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

To receive the sticker, individuals must present their vaccination cards as proof of inoculation.

Mayor Menchie Abalos stated that the campaign aims to boost public confidence in vaccines and encourage those not yet vaccinated to register and get their shots.

As of July 10, Mandaluyong City has administered over 290,000 vaccines, with 208,412 residents receiving their first dose and 91,261 completing their second dose.

The city aims to inoculate all its residents by September and has vaccinated 54 percent of its total population.

The local government also vaccinated bedridden senior citizens as part of the initiative.
