Poll: Filipinos favor candidates who back PhilHealth subsidies, education, lower prices

A recent survey by WR Numero Research indicates that a majority of Filipinos prefer senatorial candidates who support government subsidies for PhilHealth, prioritize education, and address rising commodity prices.

The poll, conducted from February 10 to 18, 2025, found that eight out of ten respondents favor candidates advocating for PhilHealth subsidies, with only 7 percent disagreeing.

Sixty-seven percent of respondents also expressed support for candidates who prioritize addressing the country's education crisis.

Furthermore, 54 percent of those surveyed indicated they would vote for candidates focused on curbing the increasing prices of food and other commodities.

Additionally, 48 percent of participants would consider voting for candidates who advocate for more discussions on comprehensive sexual education, while 25 percent disagreed with this stance.
