LTO to provide assistance to rice delivery trucks nationwide
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is providing assistance to cargo trucks transporting rice supplies nationwide following the declaration of a national food emergency on rice.
LTO Chief Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II ordered all regional directors and law enforcement units to ensure the smooth and unhampered delivery of rice to areas experiencing shortages or price surges.
Personnel will be made available to escort cargo trucks carrying rice from their origin to their destination.
