DOTr suspends vlogger's license for 90 days over road rage incident

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has suspended a vlogger's driver's license for 90 days following a road rage incident in Zambales where she gave a pick-up driver the middle finger.

Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon announced that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has suspended the license of the vlogger, known as 'Yanna', and issued show cause orders to two other individuals for similar offenses.

Dizon stated that individuals caught on video violating traffic rules will automatically face a 90-day license suspension without an immediate investigation or hearing.

This new policy aims to curb abusive driving behaviors, especially among motorcyclists, and deter blatant disregard for traffic regulations.

Dizon emphasized that fame is irrelevant, and licenses will be suspended or revoked for traffic violations, particularly impacting those who drive motorcycles for a living.
