The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has summoned the owner and driver of a Mitsubishi Montero Sport flagged for over 300 violations of the Edsa Busway.

A show cause order was issued to the registered owner, a Quezon City resident, following a request for assistance from MMDA Chairman Don Artes.

LTO Chief Vigor D. Mendoza II stated that the investigation will focus on identifying the driver responsible for the 307 violations.

At least 14 violations were recorded by CCTV cameras since the No-Contact Apprehension Policy was reimplemented last month.

The vehicle's last registration was in August 2022, and it has since been placed under alarm, blocking all transactions.

The registered owner and driver are directed to appear before the LTO with a written explanation.
