LTO seizes nearly 40 vehicles, including 30 luxury cars, for violations

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) confiscated nearly 40 vehicles, including 30 high-end luxury cars, during a week-long enforcement sweep.

The impounded vehicles had violations such as expired or missing registrations and unlicensed drivers.

LTO chief Markus Lacanilao expressed surprise at the number of expensive vehicles lacking proper registration.

The LTO will coordinate with the Bureau of Customs to verify the registration of the impounded vehicles.

This crackdown is part of a broader enforcement effort that also targets ordinary cars, SUVs, AUVs, and vans.
