LTO expands Palit Plaka Program to all DLROs in Metro Manila

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has expanded its Palit Plaka Program to all Driver's License Renewal Offices (DLROs) in Metro Manila to speed up plate releases and enhance accessibility for motorcycle owners.

LTO-NCR Director Roque Versoza III stated that this expansion will expedite the distribution of plates for motorcycles that either lack a plate number on their Certificate of Registration or are still using their Motor Vehicle (MV) File Number as a temporary plate.

Assistant Regional Director Atty. Dennis Barion highlighted that the program's expansion to DLROs aims to provide greater convenience, as these offices are typically less congested than District or Extension Offices.

Motorists with MV File Numbers starting with '13' and '1801' are reminded that they can claim their plate numbers if they have already been issued a seven-character plate, are using a six-character green plate, or were registered in 2017 or earlier and are still using their MV File Number as a temporary plate.
