The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) is expediting the release of a P6,500 fuel subsidy to public utility vehicle (PUV) operators and drivers.

A total of P2,453,379,500 is needed to cover 377,443 beneficiaries who would receive P6,500 each.
Beneficiaries will receive the fuel subsidy through Pantawid Pasada cards issued by Landbank, which can be used at participating gas stations.
These cards will feature the vehicle's plate number as a reference, allowing drivers to use them even if the card is registered under the operator's name.
