LPG prices to increase by up to P8.03 starting February 1

Filipino households will face higher liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices starting February 1, 2025.

Petron Corporation announced a P0.70 per kilogram price increase for its LPG products, effective February 1.

Solane will also implement a P0.73 per kilogram price hike for its LPG, starting on the same day.

These price adjustments translate to a PHP7.70 to PHP8.03 increase for a regular 11-kilogram household LPG cylinder.

Cleanfuel announced that its automobile LPG price went up by PHP0.35 per liter.

These price adjustments are attributed to the fluctuations in the international contract price of LPG for February.

Data from the Department of Energy showed that an 11-kilogram LPG tank in Metro Manila before the new price hike ranged from PHP860 to PHP1,140, while the common price of auto LPG stood at PHP42.55 per liter.
