Louie Heredia joins Miss Universe selection committee

Filipino singer and TV host Louie Heredia has been appointed as a member of the 74th Miss Universe selection committee.

The Miss Universe Organization cited Heredia's numerous concerts and global performances as valuable assets that will contribute a meaningful perspective to this year's event.

Heredia will sit in the panel at the final competition show that will be held at Hall 2 of Impact Challenger in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on Friday morning, Nov. 21.

This is not Heredia's first foray into the Miss Universe pageant, as he previously served as a judge during the closed-door interviews held last week.

Philippine representative Ahtisa Manalo, who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 in May, is aspiring to secure the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe title.

Manalo's national costume was designed by Mak Tumang and her evening gown by Val Taguba.
