Lindsey Vander Weide rejoins Petro Gazz for PVL Reinforced Conference

American import Lindsey Vander Weide has rejoined Petro Gazz for the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

The initial opening day matches of the conference were declared void and are set to be replayed at a later date.

Petro Gazz secured an opening win against Galeries Tower with a dominant 25-21, 25-19, 25-14 victory.

Brooke Van Sickle led the team with 14 points and six excellent digs, while Vander Weide contributed 13 markers.

Vander Weide expressed comfort in her reunion with Petro Gazz teammates, citing familiarity with the setters and liberos.

She also noted the PVL's growth since her last stint in 2022, with the league now featuring 12 teams and stronger local talent.

Brooke's parents, Gary and Lisa Van Sickle, are now the coaching tandem for Petro Gazz.

The Angels are seeking continued excellence after winning the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
