Lemetti fuels Rain or Shine past Ginebra in PBA Governors' Cup

Rookie Felix Lemetti provided the spark for Rain or Shine in their 73-64 comeback victory over Barangay Ginebra, seizing the early lead in Group B of the PBA Governors' Cup.

Lemetti, who scored 10 of his 13 points in the final frame, ignited a back-breaking 11-0 rally for the Elasto Painters, including crucial free throws after being fouled on a four-point shot and a late three-pointer.

Import Aaron Fuller led Rain or Shine with 16 points, 23 rebounds, and 3 assists, earning Player of the Game.

Other Rain or Shine contributors included Andrei Caracut with 14 points.

The Elasto Painters secured their second consecutive win by holding Ginebra scoreless in the final four minutes.

This victory spoiled the return of import Justin Brownlee, who had 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the debut of new Kings Isaac Go, Stephen Holt (13 points), and RJ Abarrientos.

Japeth Aguilar paced Ginebra with 20 points, while Scottie Thompson returned from injury to contribute four points and 15 rebounds.
