LANDBANK launches AGRISENSO Plus in Palawan for farmers

LANDBANK has expanded its AGRISENSO Plus Lending Program to Palawan, offering low-interest financing and capacity-building support to farmers and agri stakeholders.

Over 1,400 farmers from seven municipalities in Palawan attended the program's launch in Brooke's Point on October 10, 2025, demonstrating significant interest in accessible credit.

The launch was led by LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz, alongside officials from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC).

Local government officials and representatives from various national agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Agrarian Reform, National Irrigation Administration, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation, also attended.

The initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity and foster resilient livelihoods, particularly in remote areas.
